Packages commence around 7pm on Night One. You are welcome to arrive earlier and have the evening meal by arrangement.
Supper on night of arrival is damper, home-made jam and cream served with port around the campfire approximately 9pm after which you can sit around the fire as long as you like or retire to your family room (six beds) in the quarters or to your room in the log cabin (three beds). All rooms are air-conditioned, heated and carpeted. Both accomodation blocks have an adjacent toilet. The main ablution block has eight showers plus ladies and gents toilets.
On Saturday morning, after a cooked, farm-style breakfast served between 8.00 - 8.30am in our spacious restaurant area, the day's activities for the package you have chosen commence. Our location - 825ft above sea level at the foot of the Flinders Ranges - means you will enjoy a considerably milder climate than Port Augusta, but a relatively low rainfall means a lot of winter sun. In dry years, Autumn goes right through Winter so just about any time of the year is a good time to be at Spear Creek.
