The Seagrims Tripolis yacht race is held over three days, with competing yachts sailing from the nominated host club to the other two Spencer Gulf cities.
For example it may start from Port Augusta, yachts will then sail to Port Pirie on the first day and camp overnight enjoying the hospitality of the Royal Port Pirie Yacht Club. On the second day the racing is from Port Pirie to Whyalla and camping overnight in the Whyalla marina as guests of the Whyalla Yacht Club. The third day sees yachts sailing from Whyalla to Port Augusta with the presentation of prizes being held that evening.
