This Come And Try event saw thirteen newcomers brave the wet and windy conditions to give orienteering a go. A total of 68 took part and were challenged by some well set courses by Brian Ashton, Kathy Sergejevs and Paul Harris. There were three course 5’s set in an attempt to provide some difficult navigation over varying distances and to cater for those who have the navigational skills but maybe not the mobility of yesteryear . There was a 5 short hard, a medium hard and a long hard plus a course 2 and a course 3.
